Download NVR/VMS Firmware

Download the ISO installation file from the .

Create USB Image

Create a USB image using the Rufus program.

  1. Select the ISO file that you downloaded.

  2. Press the Start button to image the USB memory.

  3. Select Write in DD image mode and press the OK button.

Info

USB memory imaged through Rufus is not recognized as a drive by Windows PC. It can be recovered using DISKPART or Rufus programs.

Boot to USB

Connect the generated USB memory to the NVR/VMS and press the "Del" key at boot to enter BIOS mode. If you check and select the USB connected in the Save & Exit menu, it will boot to USB.

Firmware Update

If you select the first item, "NVR Installation", the firmware update will proceed.

This is the drive selection window to install. You can select the DOM-SSD drive that is installed in the NVR. Be careful not to select the HDD that is installed for storage (the recording will disappear)

This window selects the model you want to install. You have to choose the same model (channel) as the model you are currently using. If you choose a different model, the license information will disappear and you will be prompted to enter the license (product registration number) after the installation is completed.

The status allows you to enter a model name. Press Enter without any input except in special cases.

The kernel is selected according to the motherboard and is recognized automatically. ※ Note that from January 2022, EM-04B2 to EM-25B2, EM-16B4, 25B4, and NDS Solo models use the MH-ITX-EMS10 main board, so the above model should be selected as Default Kernel.)

Window to choose whether to retain the settings currently stored in your NVR. Please select "Yes" except in special cases. If "No" is selected, it will return to factory initialization.

Window to choose whether to retain the account settings stored in the NVR. If you choose "No", it will return to the account initialization state and will be applied with ID: admin password: 1234.

This is the installation complete window. Please check the ###FirmwareInstallationCompleted #### and remove the installation USB and press "OK" to reboot the NVR.

Recovering USB Memory

The imaged USB can be recovered with DISKPART or Rufus programs.
